Trustees
We are looking for compassionate and motivated people who are attuned to the aims and objectives of Jersey Community Relations Trust and who can contribute actively to the Trust by participating in the development of strategy, setting overall Trust policy, defining goals, reviewing outcomes and leading projects.
We envisage people with an interest in minority groups and their needs, and an awareness of all forms of inequality will be particularly interested in a Trustee role.
We seek to have a wide range of people as Trustees representing the diverse population of the Island. Applications are invited from persons having different backgrounds and life experiences who will work effectively with the existing Trustees and devote time and effort to the duties and responsibilities required of a Trustee.
The Trustees meet every 4-6 weeks. The position of Trustee is a voluntary role, requiring on average 1 day a month, but this can vary depending on the nature of projects to be delivered. If you are interested and have the time to dedicate to a Trustee role, please apply in writing stating any past experience, and the reason why you are interested in becoming a Trustee.
Please let us know if you require reasonable adjustments to be made to support the application and recruitment process. For example, we are happy to receive a recorded application, rather than completion of the online application form.
Application Form and covering letter to be submitted by email to [email protected] or by post to the following address:
