We are the leading voluntary organisation in Jersey seeking to promote citizenship and community development through research, facilitation of partnerships and enhancement of social wellbeing. Recent projects undertaken by the Trust are:
- A review of education in Jersey
- An overview of Jersey Women in Business
- An analysis of the Cost of Childcare in Jersey
- Education and its Impact on Social Mobility
We are looking for dynamic and motivated people who are attuned to the aims and objectives of Jersey Community Relations Trust and who can contribute actively to the Trust by participating in the development of strategy, setting overall Trust policy, defining goals, reviewing outcomes and leading projects.
We envisage people with an interest in minority groups and their needs, and an awareness of all forms of inequality will be particularly interested in a Trustee role.
We seek to have a wide range of people as Trustees representing the diverse population of the Island. Applications are invited from persons having different backgrounds and life experiences who will work effectively with the existing Trustees and devote time and effort to the duties and responsibilities required of a Trustee.
The Trustees meet every 4-6 weeks. The position of Trustee is a voluntary role.
