Jersey Employment Forum’s report and recommendations on the introduction of a public interest disclosure regime in Jersey.

Flora Newman · 18 June 2025 ·

The Jersey Employment Forum’s report and recommendations on the introduction of a public interest disclosure regime in Jersey were published today.

JCRT were pleased to take part in the consultation process and help inform the encouraging and important recommendations put forward by the Jersey Employment Forum to the Minister for Social Security.

In our response, the trustees of the Jersey Community Relations Trust (JCRT) set out their support for the principle of whistleblowing protections in Jersey and view this as essential protection for vulnerable individuals in society. The trustees note that the absence of statutory whistleblowing legislation continues to undermine protection for people who are left in a difficult position when they come across wrongdoing.
